School districts across America are facing severe staffing shortages of teachers, substitute teachers, and support staff amid Covid-19 disruptions and historically low pay, contributing to burnout and worsening working conditions. Negotiating a fair contract that addresses these issues can seem like an overwhelming and never-ending journey. Come join us on Wednesday, August 10 at 3 pm as OEA members discuss their experiences of fighting for better learning and working conditions for students, educators, and the communities they serve. Learn some strategies and meet other educators that are managing a bargaining crisis.
